Privacy Policy
Effective date: January 1, 2026
Texas Foundation Repair ("we," "us," or "our") operates texasfoundationrepair.net. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and handle information when you use our website.
Information We Collect
When you select a call button or submit the request form, the site records an anonymous event: the type (call button or form), the city and service page it came from, and the site name. The name, phone number, email address and message typed into the request form are not read, saved, transmitted or shared. If you call and leave a voicemail, the owner of the number can hear it and may use it to respond.
The request form on the For Contractors page is used to claim, correct, remove or add a directory listing, to stop marketing contact, or to ask a question about the site or this policy. It is separate from the homeowner request form. It collects what is needed to handle the request: the business name and website, the name and role of the person asking, an email or phone so we can reply, and the details typed into the message box. For a claim, we use the business's own website, an email address at its own domain, or its published phone number to confirm the person can act for the business before anything changes. The form also records any optional permission to contact the business about renting city pages, with the wording agreed to; that permission is never a condition of a request. Requests are stored with our hosting and database providers, kept for up to three years after the last request so the history of each listing can be checked, and are not sold. When a request arrives we receive a notification that does not include the requester's contact details.
The hosting provider processes standard technical information, such as browser type, IP address and the pages requested, to deliver the site and protect it. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on city, directory or guide pages.
How We Use Your Information
If this site later begins to collect homeowner contact details or share them with a contractor, this policy will be updated before that starts.
- To count interest in each city page so we can decide where a contractor is worth finding
- To respond to a voicemail you choose to leave
- To handle a request sent with the For Contractors form (verifying ownership before a claim is granted, and checking a correction or removal against the business's own published information) and, only if the business ticked the box for that channel, to contact it about renting city pages
- To improve the content and functionality of this website
Information Sharing
The homeowner request form does not collect contact details, so the site has none to share. Business claim requests are used to handle the request and, with permission, for contact about city pages; they are not sold. We do not sell personal information to third parties for marketing purposes. A business can withdraw contact permission at any time with the request form on the For Contractors page (/for-contractors/#claim) (choose "Stop marketing contact") or by saying so in reply to any message from us.
Cookies and Session Storage
This website does not intentionally set cookies. To attribute a later button tap to the right city, your browser keeps the last city page you viewed in session storage for up to 30 minutes. You can control cookies and storage through your browser preferences.
Third-Party Links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies.
